Radio Support Technician
Since 2005, Criterion has provided high-end information technology and systems integration services for many of our nation's mission-critical environments. Criterion focuses on cybersecurity, IT infrastructure operations, systems engineering, and application development.






Criterion Systems is seeking a cleared Radio Technician to support one of our contracts with the Navy in New Orleans, LA. Successful candidates will have experience in two-way radio technical support, testing, tuning, and programming. The specific radio used in this role is the ELMR (Enterprise Land Mobile Radio), but experience with any military radios is sufficient. Veterans with COMSEC (communications security) experience desired.





JOB DUTIES:





+ Respond to ELMR service requests


+ Test, tune, and program ELMR radios


+ Plan, manage, and coordinate the inventory, storage and distribution of radios



+ Coordinate with the Regional ELMR Manager/Assistant Manager in the development of talk groups, Radio Set Identifiers (RSIs), and troubleshooting radio subscriber units and/or network


+ Provide support to NAS Kingsville, NAS Corpus Christi, and out-lying field sites


+ Participate in ELMR training/equipment familiarization, as requested


+ Other duties as assigned






REQUIRED SKILLS:





+ A minimum of two (2) years related radio experience



+ Experience testing, tuning and programming two-way radios



+ Active Secret Clearance



+ US Citizen






PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED









+ Security+ certification
